These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tarteel House website and services.
By using our website, requesting a trial, purchasing lesson bundles, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Who may book and use the service
Tarteel House is intended for parents or legal guardians arranging lessons for children.
By booking a trial or purchasing lessons, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you are authorised to act for the child concerned;
- the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
Our service
Tarteel House provides online one-to-one Qur’an learning sessions for children.
Service features may include:
- trial sessions;
- recurring online lessons;
- teacher matching;
- bundle-based pricing;
- progress notes or summaries;
- parent check-ins;
- scheduling and rescheduling options.
Specific features, durations, pricing, and availability may change from time to time and will be described on the website or during booking.
Trial sessions
We may offer a free trial session for new families.
A trial is offered to help the family assess fit and is subject to availability.
We reserve the right to:
- limit one free trial per child or family;
- decline or reschedule trial requests where necessary;
- refuse repeated or abusive trial requests.
A trial does not guarantee continued availability of a specific teacher or time slot.
Booking and teacher matching
We aim to match families with a suitable teacher based on the information provided, but teacher allocation remains subject to availability and operational needs.
We may suggest an alternative teacher or time where needed.
We do not guarantee that a requested teacher, language, day, or time will always be available.
Session bundles, pricing, and payment
Prices are shown in the currency stated on the website unless otherwise agreed.
When you purchase a bundle, you are buying the number of sessions specified in that bundle and any stated included features.
Payment must be completed using an approved payment method before paid sessions begin, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
We may update prices from time to time, but changes will not affect bundles already purchased unless clearly agreed.
Scheduling and attendance
Sessions are arranged at agreed times between the family and Tarteel House.
You are responsible for attending on time and ensuring the child has:
- a suitable device;
- internet access;
- a reasonably quiet learning environment.
If you expect to miss or move a session, please tell us as early as possible.
Any rescheduling, lateness, missed-session, and make-up rules should also be stated clearly in your booking materials or policy summary. If there is any conflict between these Terms and a more specific written scheduling policy provided by us, the more specific policy will apply to the extent of that conflict.
Lesson environment and parental role
Parents or guardians remain responsible for the child’s welfare, supervision, and environment during online lessons.
For younger children especially, a parent or guardian should remain reasonably available during the session.
Tarteel House provides educational services only. We do not take on parental, medical, therapeutic, or childcare responsibilities.
Conduct and respectful use
We expect respectful conduct from families, students, teachers, and staff.
You must not:
- use the service for unlawful purposes;
- record, copy, or redistribute lessons or materials without permission, except where clearly allowed;
- behave abusively, threateningly, or disrespectfully toward teachers or staff;
- misuse trial offers, payment systems, or scheduling arrangements;
- upload or send harmful, illegal, or infringing material.
We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect children, teachers, staff, or the integrity of the service.
Safeguarding and service boundaries
We aim to provide a respectful, child-appropriate educational environment.
If we reasonably believe a booking, communication, or lesson arrangement creates a safeguarding, legal, or operational concern, we may pause, reschedule, refuse, or end the service.
Refunds and cancellations
Free trial sessions are free of charge. For paid bundles, sessions already delivered are non-refundable. For unused sessions, any refund, credit, or cancellation handling is subject to our published policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law.
